Did some interval work on the treadmill. This is my second time doing interval work. The first time was in an indoor track and I have to say I liked that better than the treadmill although I might have pushed it a little hard. Warmed up at 7 for the first mile. Did the next mile at 8.5, then half mile at 6.5, then 3/4 mile at 8.6, then 6.5 for 3/4 mile, then 8.5 for half mile and walked and ran at 6.5 for the last 1/2 mile.
My plan had me run 8 miles but I only finished 5.5 as I was not feeling it and my excuse was I had a late start at night because the kids are sick. Oh well at least I didn't push to injury. |
